Marianna Lukina an honored art worker of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). A member of the Union of artists of the Russian Federation since 1993, associate professor of painting and drawing faculty of the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts, a painter, a participant of republican, all-Russian, regional and international art exhibitions since 1982.

Marianna was born on February 23, 1961 in Yakutsk in the family of a famous painter Mikhail Lukin. From 1976 to 1979 she studied at Yakutsk art school, then was transferred to the Moscow art school named in memory of 1905, from which she graduated in 1981. In 1991 she graduated from the easel painting department of the Moscow State Art Institute named after V. Surikov (workshop of Professor T. T. Salakhov). In 2009 Marianna Lukina trained in a creative studio of easel painting of the Moscow State Art Institute named after V. Surikov under the guidance of professor, member of the Russian Academy of Arts T. T. Salakhov.
